Three Engagements, Each with a Defined Scope
Synthorix offers three advisory engagements, each designed to address a particular moment in a firm's development. None of them are open-ended.
BACK TO HOMEHow We Structure an Engagement
Each Synthorix engagement begins with a scoping conversation in which we listen to the firm's current situation and ask questions to understand whether a particular engagement is genuinely suited to what is needed. We do not begin work until a written scope document has been agreed by both parties.
Work is then carried out by the assigned advisor — not delegated. Deliverables are produced according to the agreed scope. When the engagement concludes, a final written document is provided. There is no open-ended advisory relationship unless the client explicitly requests one as a separate arrangement.
30–45 minute discussion of the firm's situation and what the engagement would involve.
Engagement letter with defined deliverables, timeline, and fee. Agreement required before work begins.
Work conducted by the named advisor at the client's pace, within the agreed structure.
Final document provided at conclusion. The engagement is complete with a tangible output.
Pre-Investment Diagnostic
A careful diagnostic engagement supporting owners who are considering inviting outside investment into their business. Our advisors review existing financial and operational records, prepare a written readiness commentary, and discuss findings with the principal across two structured meetings. We aim to surface considerations the principal may wish to address before opening conversations with prospective investors. The work is conducted discreetly and at the principal's pace.
- Written readiness commentary you can share with advisors
- Two structured meetings with the principal advisor
- Surfaces issues before investor conversations begin
- Conducted confidentially, at your pace
Owner-managed businesses in the UAE that are beginning to consider a first round of external investment, or preparing for a significant ownership transition.
Operating Manual Drafting
A focused engagement supporting growing firms as they document recurring processes for the first time. Our team interviews staff who carry out the work, drafts written process notes, and revises in close consultation with the leadership until the document reflects current practice. We do not impose templates — the manual emerges from the firm's own way of working. Typical engagement runs six to eight weeks. Suited to firms preparing for a hire-and-train phase.
- Process documentation in the firm's own language and structure
- Staff interviews ensure the manual reflects real practice
- Iterative revision until leadership is satisfied
- Ready for immediate use in onboarding and training
Firms with between five and thirty staff who are about to hire and need to train new employees from something more reliable than informal instruction.
Quarterly Reflection Sessions
A series of four facilitated sessions across a calendar year, in which leadership teams pause to reflect on the previous quarter's progress against their stated priorities. Sessions are conversational rather than evaluative — our role is to hold space for considered reflection rather than performance review. Includes four sessions of two hours each, with brief written summaries provided after each meeting. Suited to leadership teams seeking a structured habit of reflection.
- Four two-hour sessions across the calendar year
- Written summary provided after each session
- Conversational, not evaluative in tone
- Creates a structured habit of reflection across the year
Leadership teams of two to six people who find that quarterly priorities drift without a structured moment to step back and assess where things actually stand.
